Shortcut Item

The Shortcut item is a transparent link to other items, much like file shortcuts or symbolic links from your favorite Operating Systems, and is meant to aid you with organizing your knowledge base by deduplicating items whenever you feel that a given item might belong in more than one collection.

Shortcut items can be created from any other type of item. To create a shortcut item, select the item that you want to create a shortcut for and select the Create shortcut option from the context menu.
